Has matter always existed for all time? Does time have a begenning? I don't mean from a human standpoint but from a universe as a whole standpoint. I used to think the fact that matter couldn't exist for all time proved there was a creator. But what if it did. Would that mean that God didn't create eveything. Well....
I think I'm looking at the universe from a distinctly human perspective. I don't think it is possible to accept there is a creator without accepting something existed without being created. We humans will only belive something can exist if it was created, not because that's how it is, but because that's all we can see. The more I think about it, the more foreign the concept of universal creation sounds. I say foreign, though because it could be possible, but not farmilier. Where as a total random creation of matter (postulated by famous scientists) seems to still at least reqire a set of physical laws to govern it becasue I cannot belive that you can get matter without a physical framework. But that relies on my limited human understanding of creation. Thus I can't prove anything.
I have realized tonight that not only do I not make sense, but about 50% of what I though I understood about the universe has been turned upside down. Umm... I have to think somemore...
